Communication

The communication feature is an add-on to 3Csafe™, enabling users to initiate communication with a few mouse clicks and exchange information among individuals and as well as control mass notification to coordinate actions or distribute information. 3Csafe™ supports various types of communication channels from phones, cell phones, pagers, to email. Communication can be used to exchange information among users within 3Csafe™ as well as to reach out to people outside the immediate scope of 3Csafe™ users, such as parents, media or others.

3Csafe™ allows creating predefined and prerecorded messages to individuals and groups of users and send them instantly with just a few mouse clicks from within the application. Recipient lists can be predefined to avoid lengthy configuration during an emergency.

Usage example: During a fire in a part of the building, the incident commander uses 3Csafe™'s communication features to alert the fire department, initiate the evacuation of the school. After the evacuation is initiated and under way, the public information officer uses the communication features to inform parents that all students are safe, nobody was injured, and the secondary site where parents can pick up their kids.
